Red River Gorge Climbing Areas:

Red River Gorge Climbing is definitely in the top 5 destinations of the Eastern United States.  The majority of the climbs are steep and require a lot of endurance.  The rock is nice red sandstone offering pockets, crimps, slopers and jugs.  RRG is known for sport climbs, but there are many nice trad climbs and boulders too.
